B.A. Carroll is a multifaceted musician and artist whose career spans music production, conducting, composition, and performance. He has produced, conducted, written, and recorded music for notable clients including Ford Motor Company, General Foods, Dow Chemical Corporation, Unocal 76, and the U.S. Department of Defense. His work in the entertainment industry includes roles as producer and director for both domestic and international productions on cruise ships, in theme parks, and for major corporate events. His soundtracks have accompanied live performances across Asia, Europe, and even at the White House Easter Egg Roll.

For the past 18 years, Mr. Carroll has served as the Artistic Director of the West Coast Singers LGBTQ+ Chorus of Los Angeles. In this role, he has worked with a diverse and passionate community of singers dedicated to building connections and sharing powerful music. Under his leadership, WCS has consistently delivered high-quality artistic performances, engaged in meaningful outreach throughout Los Angeles, and proudly performed at the GALA Choruses quadrennial festivals in Montreal, Miami, and Denver.

In addition to his professional music work, Mr. Carroll has also been deeply committed to music education. His passion for teaching led him to become a certified music educator while continuing his work as a conductor and composer. He has served as a clinician for major music organizations, including the Illinois Music Educators Association and the National High School Institute of Music at Northwestern University.

Mr. Carroll holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where he served as Associate Conductor of the Oakland Chorale and Chorus. He also studied Commercial Music Performance at Millikin University, Music Education at Oakland University, and served as a teaching assistant in the Master’s program in Choral Conducting at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Currently, Mr. Carroll is the Director of Vocal Music at Burbank High School, where he leads a nationally recognized, award-winning choral and vocal ensemble program. Since 2003, his innovative leadership has established Burbank High School’s program as one of the premier high school performance programs in the country.
